- Equations and inequalities: Solve linear equations, quadratic equations (by factoring or graphs), and systems of equations.
- Algebraic expressions: Simplify, evaluate expressions, work with polynomials, and understand linear and nonlinear functions.
- Geometry
- Geometric properties: Perimeters, areas, volumes, and angles in 2D and 3D figures.
- Pythagorean Theorem: Applications in right triangles and real-world problems.
- Numbers and Operations
- Basic operations: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with integers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ratios, proportions, and percentages: Practical and applied problem-solving.
- Rational and irrational numbers: Identification and operations.
- Statistics and Probability
- Data representation: Tables, graphs (bar, line, pie), and measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode).
- Probability: Calculation of simple probabilities, independent events, and dependent events.
