Science Evaluation

Science Evaluation

The Science Evaluation measures a student’s ability to understand scientific concepts,
interpret data, and apply reasoning skills to real-world situations. Students will read short passages,
analyze charts or graphs, and answer questions that reflect GED-level expectations.

This evaluation focuses on:

• Reading and understanding scientific information
• Interpreting data from tables, charts, and experiments
• Applying scientific reasoning to solve problems
• Understanding key concepts in life science, physical science, and Earth/space science
• Evaluating evidence and scientific claims

The goal of the Science Evaluation is to determine how well students can work with scientific information
and think critically — skills needed to succeed on the official GED Science test.
